Ontario OINP Program Announcement on June 26, 2026: The OINP launched Phase 1 of its program redesign on June 26, 2026. The existing 8 streams were removed and replaced with the new Ontario Workforce Priority stream. The EOI system is closed to new registrations while the platform is updated. The new stream includes TEER 0–3 and TEER 4–5 pathways, plus a self-employed physician pathway. Program integrity changes reduce AMP response time from 60 to 30 days.
Ontario OINP Regulatory Update on May 29, 2026: Amendments to Ontario Regulation 421/17 under the Ontario Immigration Act took effect May 30, 2026. These changes prepare for the redesign of the OINP.
